Christmas 2011

Friday we got up early got donuts and went to Jens.  Helped Mackenie with her sewing and katie did Lindas nails.

 Then we  met Betty and Fred at MiMi's for lunch.  Then we came back to our place for cards.
Sat we went to Shannons for Christmas eve.  Jens family came and we had dinner and santa came.

Sunday after church we went to Jens for brunch. Shannons family came over for brunch. After eating we played squence. Just as we were going to have desert Betty, Fred, Kari, Steven and Addy came over. We played 9 hole golf. Monday a day to take down our Christmas stuff and went shopping. We got exciting news that our niece Amanda in Georgia had her first baby  named Heidi.  My sister Carol's First grandchild.  Tues. we went to Shas and pick up the kids so they could spend the night.We skipped rocks along the shore. The boys played while Lilimarie and lin made dinner. Then we watched some movies. The boys went to sleep on the couch and we made a place for Lilimarie in the kitchen floor.

 On Wed. we made pancakes with their letters. Then to the welcome center at corp of engeniers,the dam,walk along the water, then to a park.  When we got back to the park Lilimarie, Diego and I walked along the shore and skipped  rocks and picked up trash.  Lin and Xander make cupcakes for his early birthday party.  Al and Shannon came and we had dinner,airplane cupcakes and we played cards  while the kids put there new puzzels together. Then cleaned up house and did laundry as we received bad news that our niece Kari  lost her baby at 30 wks so my sister flew back here  and we will be dealing with that tragedy here. so please keep our entire family in your prayers.

Week before Christmas

Thur. we went back to Clarksville.  We made sugar cookies and went to Diegos Christmas program.

Sat. we went to Jens to help Chris make Mackenzie a stage in her bedroom and a box spring for the spare bedroom. While Linda went shopping with the girls. Poor Katie was sick and stayed with the guys. Sun. Shannon and a friend Megan came over for a walk, dinner, and smores.


Mon. they started to make a new guard house. We had time to go through the bens in the storage area. Then we mailed a christmas gift to m/d and went to Dr Mynsters for adjustment.

On Wed. we went to Jens after shopping and finished Mackenzie stage.Chris made home made pizza.

SECOND WEEK IN DEC.

Thur. we took Jen out to lunch.  Then we made some peanut butter balls yum yum. At this rate I will put back on 25 pounds that  I lost.  On Fri. we went to our bank to see about Lins 403b retirement.  Then to Jens for dinner and time to make sugar cookies.  Then we took Mackenzie and Katie home with us.  They were our first house guest to spend the night.  We made grahamcracker houses and watched Elf. After a good night rest we made pancakes and watched The Grinch That Stole Christmas.  We walked around the campground and picked up trash. Then we met Chris and Jen at Opryland Hotel walked around and watched the Shrek Christmas spectacular in the atrium.

On Sunday after Church we came to Jens to make Sugar Cookies along with Kari, Steven and Addy.

Monday came and we had a meeting with a christian financial person.

after 3 hours He was able to make it clear to us and we are going to transfer Lindas retirement over to them.  Tues. after a oil change we came to have lunch with Mackenzie and Katie at their school. Then chili dinner at Jens. Wed.we went to Shas and watch Deigo in his karite class to find out he was getting tested for a new belt. He passes and is now a yellow and white belt.

OUR FIRST WEEK IN DECEMBER

Jens family gave us some money for dinner and the Rockettes.  On Thus. we went to Logans steakhouse then walked aroud Opryland Hotel before we went to an aweome show with dancing, unreal costumes and story line.

On Sat. we went to see Shannon run a 5k then went to kids school for a pancake breakfast.  Then to Toys-R-us and to there home to make gingerbread houses.  After they were put together we went to the park then back to decorate the houses.what a blast to see how different there creations were.  we went to see the parade near the college.  They had a lot of floats, bands, and dogs.  They threw lots of candy to the spectatores.

Sunday we went to Brentwood Hills C.O.C. Where John and Linda Johnson worship.  After services we went to lunch at O'Charlies. We had a great visit with them.  It is so nice being able to see folks you know all across this nation.  John has been my mentor in my Christian walk ever since I have became a Christian. They invited us to a fund raiser on Tues. for domestic violence. We had a great time and learned alot about the group.  They were able to raise alot of funds for the project.
