Snow, Pilgrimage to Bethlehem, Hobbit, & heading east

Thur. we got propane for the rig we have been using it alot lately. We went to Starbucks for it is to  have bad weather the next two days and we wanted to get in on the buy one get one drinks. We went for a long walk around the park.  When we went to the clubhouse they had soup and rolls we had it for dinner and lunch Fri. The cloudy weather is already here.

Fri. we watched in disbelief as we saw the shootings in Conn. We left for Sedona on the way we stopped at Starbucks buy one get one free. On the way we saw the snow on the mt. tops

Then to Pilgrimage to Bethlehem. They put you in Bethlehem at the time of Jesus birth. They had a market and what it would be like with tax collectors, Roman solders, bread makers, corn millers, people selling nuts and fruits, flowers, making wheels for carts, olive oil, stones for nickles and bracelets, and much more.

They then had a play about Mary and Joseph and where Jesus was born.  With over 50 singers they sang the story.  Then they had the singers change into everyday clothing and told of Jesus on the cross.

Sat. we got up went and watched Hobbit in a small single theatre.  We then went to Subway for there monthly sub special (meatballs sandwich). Then enjoyed some Christmas specials on T.V.               Sun. we got up to see snow on the picnic tables and the truck.  It was neat to see the snow on the higher elevation.

Sun. night in Cottonwood they had a Christmas Concert for the Central Arizona Food Bank.  It was a free concert with refreshments they ask for a donation.  Here in this picture is the High School glee club.  A person played the bagpipes, they had a juggler, a clogger and many other entertainers.

Mon we got up early and started going east. As we were leaving the park we saw this air balloon.
Flagstaff had snow lots of snow.  It made you feel like you were in Christmas Wonderland. I am so glad we came this way and glad that the snow on the road was gone.

We stopped in N.M. at a Visitor center. I thought we were going to drive thru the desert(boy was I wrong)we took time to make a couple snow balls.

This is coming into Albuquerque N.M. the temp in high 40s

This is going out of Albuquerque where our campground is temp low 30s and over 1000 higher.

Tues. this is not a good way to wake up. All of the windows were covered with ice.  It was a long time before I could see to leave and we were worried about going down a hill that was iced.  We were lucky that we did not unhitch the night before.

This was  a different type of wind mill you can see the elect. box on the bottom. Notice the ground has little life to it and is flat.
After going up a mountain and coming down to the valley this area is flat and has lots of trees. After a long day we stopped at Clinton OK.

Wed. we were going to have a easy day we got up an hour later had to do some computer work but we drove another 400 miles. This was one of the overpasses we thought was different.  We drove to Conway Ar. As we parked the truck we noticed some fluid on the ground so we will be going to the Ford dealership Thur. We will be here for two days. After getting the rig level we went to walmart for Subway and fuel.  Then we made it to church by 7
