Eustis Fl.

Thur. Today we drove to town and got alot of things done. When we got home I took our storage area out and fasten the wall that I took apart when I fixed the shower faucet.

Fri. we got up and I went up to help make new steps to the zipline and a side and back rail to the stands in the ball field.  Linda did some laundry then we drove to Tams where the kids were catching lizards (6).  We drove to Bryce's t-ball practice and we walked around. Later that night Tam and Kenn went out and we made some homemade pizzas.

Sat. we went to their church and watch an Easter play and then watched the kids go to a egg hunt.  We left there and went to The Arnold Palmer Invitational golf tournament. We were able to see many top golfers. There were many nice homes there and below a bird. When we got to Tam's we bought some wood for their wooden chairs they were fixing.  Tam, Kenn, Linda, and I went to see Les Miserables.

  

Sun. we went to church, shopping, and got things back to normal.

 Mon.I I got the rear of the rig waxed.  I was surprised to see how much the rig oxidized. Below is a view of the back window we have like views on the sides now that only three rigs remain.

Tues. I Waxed the front of the rig and cleaned the carpets. As they were drying we decided to go to Tams and cook dinner and go to a movie (Lincoln) with Kenn and Tammy. We played with the kids and they made many different objects. When we got back to the rig at 1am it was 51 inside for we left the windows open and 43 outside.

Wed. We relaxed and enjoyed the park.  Went to church and  we are studying the book of Job

Week-end at the Niebrigges

Thur. Linda stayed home and did laundry while I went back to school and did the morning devo then primed the boards that the guy built in the barn. When I got home the 3 day christian conference Linda, Tammy and Mary were going to started tonight and for some reason we thought  it started on Fri. We got there in time for them to leave and met Mary there. I got to play with the Kids. We played pig with the basketball,volleyball with Bryce and side walk chalk.  We had a pizza and watched a movie with pop corn of course. Kenn got home we put the kids to bed and had a great talk.

Fri. I took Bryce to school and Hope and I had a day together.  After Kenn brought Brendan home and took Hope to the friends the guys had a night out. Bryce baseball team got some tickets to go to a UCF baseball game.  Here Bryce is with his class penguin which he was taking care of for the week-end. Below we are watching the game.

 Sat.  We got up and went to Bryce's baseball game.  Then Kenn drove us to near where he works one of the neighborhoods was having a carnival. He had a booth there and I took the kids to eat and play games.

On Sat. and Sun. the we played golf in their back yard.

 Sun. we woke to find a leprechaun had come and gave the kids treats in their leprechaun traps they had made.  He was very mischievous making a mess and over turning the furniture.  After church the kids played with their silly string they got then played golf and battleship. We came back to the rig rested, walked then went to church.

 Mon. We spent the day going through our closets trying to eliminate alot of our clothes to free up the  o closet that has the washer and dryer hook up.We're thinking of maybe getting one. We're ending up with lots of clothes for our sojourns and clothes to donate to the Mt Dora School Thrift Store.  Below I am making a shoe rack smaller to fit into a different closet.  Below that is our storage which is a mess till we get the part to fix the shower.  Well our new visa cards came today.

Tues. we spent the day going through the front of the rig. We are starting to map out when we leave here for our next sojourn in Jackson,Ms.                            

 Wed.We had a great day. I washed the truck and the rig only to have it get rained on tonight. We got our part for the shower.   I put it together and IT WORKS NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!.

Our Last Week At Mt. Dora

 Thur. We finished the concrete on the girls locker room.  Then we cemented posts around the ac units by the gym.  We also got a house ready for painting.  Linda's team did some power washing.

Fri.  We both slept in.  We went out to lunch with Ed and Davon to an Italian restaurant.  When we got back to camp Jim and Lana were here.  We went on a walk around camp, had dinner then played cards. Tonight the girls won.






Sat. after breakfast Tonya (the boys houseparent) came to visit an see our rig.She took us along with Jim and Lana  to town to go to the produce market.  Later that afternoon Linda went with some of the ladies to a flee market. When she got back we ate supper then cards.  The guys won.

Sun. After we got back from church we ate then played cards.  We shared a watermelon then went to a play at the school. It was Charlie Brown.  The kids did a great job.The boys houseparents daughter did all the props.

Mon.We had a hard day at sojourning and both of us were tired. I did some caulking and sanding getting a house ready for painting.  Linda did some painting at the baseball field.  When we got home Jim and Lana were getting here from a day at Disney. We played cards and the guys won.
Tues. I finished my caulking and started painting.  We got one coat on the house.  Linda did some priming and painting.  We got back to the camp Lana had made some potato soup for us.  We played some cards and the girls won.

Wed.  Every morning we start out with a devotion I am the co leader so my job is to make sure we have a song leader, a person for prayer, and one to do the devotion.

Brad on the right is in charge of all the work, tools, and material. Allen makes sure we have everything at the right place and does whatever we need help with.  Together they make a great team.

Sojourn at Mt. Dora Christian Home and Bible School

 Thur. We both had a good day at sojourn.  All of us were invited to the girls cottage for dinner and to meet the kids and house parents, some of the staff and the President of the school.  Here we are with the president of the school and his wife. Below Linda is visiting with some of the sojourners. They had a nice dinner for us and each of the kids got up and introduced themselves.  We also had two single mothers with their children there ( they have a single parent program).

Fri. After going to our accountant we drove to Bryce's baseball practice and Linda went with Tammy to get Hope ready for the father-daughter banquet.

 Linda and Tam went to see the folks at the banquet.When everyone got home I made cowboy coffee cake for the morning.

Early in the morning Sat. we had the boys come into our room so everyone else could sleep. Later everyone joined them. Below we went to Bryce's t-ball game. They played three innings and every one got to bat. They only go one base at a time.  Bryce, Tammy and I went to a birthday party at a bounce house.  They had over thirty kids for there two sons birthdays.  That evening Tammy and Kenn went out and we watched a movie with popcorn of course.

 Sun. we drove to Ponce Deleon State Park.  They have a Grill and Griddle House there. Everyone enjoyed making there own pancakes and adding the toppings to them.  Afterwards we drove through Deland Fl. below are some pictures

Mon. I helped the the folks doing the concrete today.  We formed and cemented a ramp for the ball field.  We got home to take our showers we found that the shower was still leaking.  After taking the walls down in the bottom of the unit and wiggling in to where the shower drain is.  I found it was not leaking from the drain but the floor under the shower was wet.  Next I took the faucet apart turned on the water to have the parts shoot out of the faucet and water sprayed all over the bathroom and bedroom floor before I could get the door shut.  I put the faucet together again using all the nuts turned on the water to find where the leak was (below is the picture). I used duck tape to fix the problem till I can get the part to fix the problem.

Tues. We were able to clean up around the concrete we poured and filled in alot of spots with the dirt we had brought in.  We also dug 18 holes 3 feet deep in the parking lot of the gym to protect the ac units.  We took the house parents of the guys out to dinner at Outback.

Wed. As we ate our breakfast we looked out to see this squirrel sleeping in a tree. Linda is still cleaning and today I poured more concrete getting the girls bathroom flat with no steps. We went to church and came home and slept.  This has been a tiring week.
