Sojourn at Children Home Paragould Ar. 41st Anniversity

We were able to have lunch with Jennifer at her work. Below is some turkeys that we saw near the campgrounds. Before dinner we played school. Mackenzie was the  teacher she had many things planed out for us to do.
Fri. we got on the road early and got to the college by 2:00.  It was nice to see some of the sojourners we have not seen in awhile.  We played cards after dinner.  Sat. we all went to breakfast a leisure day then we played pegs and jokers.
Sunday we went to church then out to lunch. Two pictures below is our meeting.  The leader Betty had made scarfs for the ladies. David and Rachel gave Linda a" survival kit from the south". They were here for the sojourn at the college and got things for her.She had made a comment that she hadn't eaten some of their southern food!  Not sure I'm up for tasting that.  Potted meat!!!!!She told them she hoped she would never need to use her survival kit!!I think i'm going to agree with that.  She said one night playing cards she will share!!!

That night we drove to Marmaduke Ar. for church one of the sojourners was the speaker.

Mon. was our 41st Anniversary we did our first day of work at the children's home.  I worked on sanding lockers getting them ready  for paint.  Linda worked in the kitchen cleaning.  After dinner we played peg and jokers again the guys won one and the girls won one.
Tues. we did the same work but after dinner we went to a volleyball game which had the twin granddaughters of one of the  sojourners.

Wed. Linda worked in the kitchen and I finished the lockers.  I then started to pressure wash the buildings.
