Niebrigge at end of Spring Break

Thur. Tammy and the kids came and brought pizza for lunch. While Tammy was here we played many sports, went swimming, played cards.  After dinner we watched a movie then when lights were out so were the kids.

Fri. Brendan made two different types of coffee cakes during the day for Sat. breakfast(top left picture).  Hope helped make pancakes for breakfast and banana bread later in the day(top middle picture). We did crafts(top right), went swimming again(middle left), went bike riding at different times during the weekend, and they watched TV(middle right) and movies at night(bottom right two). The bottom left two pictures the kids eating pancakes and salad.

Sat. We got up and drove to Tam's.  Kenn and I put a new valve in their shower and did pressure cleaning on the gable ends of the house and pool area.  Linda washed base boards and doors.  Then went with Tam and the kids to a Boy Scout event where they packaged sealed meals for the needy. They did over 5,500 meals(pictures below).  When they got home Tam and I went to get a shower knob, mulch, and new light fixture for the dinning room.  Kenn and I put it up.  Linda and I drove home ate Subway with Bill and Ellen, then played cards.

Sun.  After we went to church we went with two other couples to Oakwood B-BQ and had ribs.  We left there and went shopping.  After we got home we ate then to church and back home for dinner.

Mon.  It started raining in the middle of the night and rained in the morning.  We did get the truck washed, laundry done and things caught up in the rig. When it stopped raining we got the camps pressure washer and did some of the playground equipment, baseball bleachers, and the open building near the ball field.

Tues. We have enjoyed having coffee in bed in the morning. We started getting caught up with paperwork and business calls and in the afternoon we went shopping.  We enjoyed a early evening watching TV.

Wed.  We worked on getting our income tax done and more phone calls. 21DAYS till our cruise which we are looking FORWARD TO!!!!!!!!!!

Looking for new car-motorhome and babysitting Niebrugge's boys

Wed.  After packing to go to Tam's we went to the Ford dealership to look at towable.  We got a good deal on one then went to the Honda dealership to see a Crv.  We made a deal for it also so now we are ready for Thur. to test drive a used motor home.  We spent the rest of the evening playing with the kids. We will be babysitting the boys this week end.  Tam and Hope are going with her school to Washington D.C.

Thur.  We ate then took the boys to school.  Then to Orlando RV. After a test drive we talked money.  We could not come up with a deal that both of us were happy with.  When we got back to Tam's I called the car dealerships and told them the bad news.  After we got the boys, dinner, practice, a trip to Wendy's for free frosty's.

Fri. What a wonderful day.  Brendan helped me make coffee cake. Linda and Bryce had a morning on the porch.  They played cards then enjoyed coffee cake, coffee, and hot chocolate(bottom left picture). Then Kenn and I did yard work and Linda did pressure cleaning while the boys swam. Later Linda cooked while Kenn and I pressured cleaned the front.  After dinner all the boys played basketball.

Sat. After breakfast I finished the pressure washing.  The boys and I played basketball then off to the baseball games.  Left picture is Brendan batting and his team won their games.  top right is bryce playing third and to the left is Kenn who helped coached.  They tied there game.  Bottom right is us with apple pie and pecan topping for pie day 3/14/15/ @ 9:26:53.  It only happens one time every 100 years 3.141592653=pi.

Sun. Kenn was in the chorus and sang a solo.  We then went to Costco for pizza and samples.  When we got home the boys went to practice and Linda and I started filling in the spots n the entry way and garage.  Bryce helped with the garage(picture below).

Mon. What a wonderful day we had. I started out sanding the front porch then painting it in the afternoon. Kenn through out the day pressured clean.  We took the pool spa pump apart to get a new one.  We also got a timer for the pump and paint for the front entry and back door.  As you can see from the photos we had many things to paint. In the botton 2 picture I am sanding the garage floor we have to get paint for it later. these four days have been great in getting things done and the house back up to par. Hope and Tam got home late.  They had a great time in Washington D.C.

Tues. St Patrick's Day. We got up to the patio all turned up by the leprechaun.  Mon. they started there leprechaun traps, but he fooled them(bottom left).  This week the boys spent there time making large cards to welcome Tam and Hope from Washington D.C.(top left two pictures), made a large poster that they hung on the fire place (top right), they made rice crispy's 4leaf clovers(middle two right), made traps for the leprechaun (middle two right), and helped clean and paint.At lunch we had our corn beef and cabbage and Hope made milkshakes (green Mint)she got off the web. Bottom right Kenn and I enjoying our coffee.

 During the day we painted the two garage doors (pictures below), put a new motor on the spa, and went to see a movie at the dollar theater.

Wed. It was a good day to sleep in have coffee in bed then catch up on things around the rig.  After church we went home and and to bed early.

Last Week at Mount Dora

Thur. We finished our week then home and dinner.  Linda was tired so I went and played cards.

Fri. We had three computer class, it was to much so on the third class we left early.  We went to Tam's where Hope and Kenn were getting ready for the father/daughter dance (pictures below).

 While we were taking pictures of them Bryce was at a baseball game (pictures below left and top right he is batting and bottom right he is catching).

 Sat. We got wash done,the truck washed, and bills done.  We went with Lloyd and Dottie to 5 guys for dinner then to Floyd and Jenny's for pegs and jokers and dessert.

Sun. After church we went to Publix and got sandwiches then ate them at the Butterfly place.  Top left the caterpillar, middle top cocoon, top right Tam's family.  We were able to go into a room, put our fingers in sugar water and hold the butterflies(rest of the pictures). We left there to go to Orlando RV.  They had a used one come in and we put a down payment on it. We will test drive it Thur.

Mon. Tonya (at the boys house) had us over for pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, pineapple, and drinks.  After devo Glenn and I finished the fire pit benches(picture below Toyna the person who had us for breakfast 3 times is left and Maurine right the one who worked with Linda during the sojourn).  Then we put up a basketball backboard.  Then went and helped put up a frame around the water pipes.  When we got home we ate and played rook(cards).

Tues. Today was our last day of Sojourning at Mt. Dora.  At lunch the staff and kids made us thank-you notes and put them on our tables(left picture). We finished putting up the drywall and the mud on the walls(bottom right).  The girls pressure washed the boys bleachers(top right).  When we got home we ate then played crown five(cards).

Brightons b-day 2nd week at Mt Dora

Thur. This was the last day of this week for our sojourn.  One of the house parents had all the sojourners for breakfast. After a late start Linda painted and I got all the pieces ready to install on Monday.  We are both are very tired but we still played cards.

Fri.  Brighton's birthday he would have been 15 today. We met Tammy at a bike path near her home.  The three of us went on a long ride, went back to Tammy's then to Publix for a soup lunch(middle picture is soup bowls in three stages with soup, just got the bread cut and behind that one that has not been cut yet.).  We then pick up the kids, picked up the balloons and went to Fresh Market (bottom left the kids picking out 14 pieces of candy) When we got back to Tam's.  I played basketball with the kids and Kenn,Tam and Linda went and got dinner.  The kids got the pomegranate off the tree (right two pictures) before we released the balloons (top left and middle pictures).  When we came back into the house they opened up the Alvarez gift, butterfly gummies (bottom middle picture).

Sat. We got up early to go to Hope's archery. Top left this is her practice. Top right is her first match she won 3 to 7 they are talling the score. Bottom left was her hardest match the first two they tied the third and forth he won 29 to 28 out of thirty. Bottom right the two teams won and had a shoot out where ten of the players from each team shot one arrow.  They won by three points. It was great to be there to see the matches.  We left there and went to lunch then the light was on at Krispy Kreme so Hope, Linda and I just had to have some!!!  We left there and went shopping and to get a different cover for Linda's new phone.

Sun. After church we went downtown Eustis to a craft fair.  They had a lot of vendors, games, and rides.  We walked around the vendors then ate at a local restaurant.  We went to church and caught up on computer work.

Mon.  Today at lunch they had green eggs and ham(top left)(top right our group having lunch).  Some of the teachers were dressed as Dr. Zeuss character celebrating his birthday.  After dinner we played cards and did laundry.

Tues. Bottom left pictures is the project I have been working on.  Hope to get the locks for the doors Wed. then it well be done. Bottom right Linda pressure washing in the morning and she painted in the afternoon. 

Wed.  Glenn and I started a new project, building a wall 6x6 in a door way. We got it built, primed, and painted.  Linda painted on the house and bleachers at the Girls softball field.  Before church we went to see Devon at the Hospital. She had her knee replaced.
