St Pete Fla. to Fort Myers Fl.

Thur.we got up and met dad at our club house for biscuits and gravy.  Then we went on a bike ride to the bank (2.2miles).  After we got back we drove to Tampa so we could pick up our Surge Guard RV power protection for the rig.  It turns off when the elec. is low at 102v or high at 132v. When we got back we hooked it up then visited some friends we met at the RV show. At dads he made us spaghetti for dinner !!!Yum Yum!!!!

Fri. we went to dads for lunch then trimmed his tree

We went for a walk on the beach and found this bird sleeping. Every once in a while he would open his eye a little(very eerie)

After dinner ( Linda's split pea soup) we stopped at Treasure Island beach and watched the sun set.

                                                                                 
Sat. we got in our bike ride before going to dad's.  Linda made BLT for lunch and dad took us to Denny's for dinner.  We didn't have time for a sunset but the full moon was great.

     
Sun. we went to church then, ate lunch I went to dad's (Linda was not feeling well). We watched a movie then had leftovers.  I went and picked up Linda and we watched the sunset.

Mon.  We got the laundry done and went for a bike ride.  Then went to Dad's for lunch and dinner.  While Dad went thought his mail we went to the beach for a walk. Then got his favorite cake from Skidders.  Lin cooked chicken and potatoes for dinner.  The cake was very filling and good.

Tues. was my Dad's 89th birthday so we took him out to breakfast at Skidder's his favorite place.  We  got the rig and drove to Fort Myers Fl. Jim and Lana had poured a slab and got 50 amp. service. We played some cards and the girls won today.

Wed. we got up early and went to Linda's Dr. appt. She got her yearly bloodwork done. After we left the office we ate at Bagel Bagel and went shopping. It was nice to be back in Fort Myers and go to the old stomping grounds. When we  got back to the Perkins we ate, played cards, went for a walk, then watched TV.
