HORSESHOE LAKE AT CLINTON IN.

Thur. The girls made waffles then everyone ganged up on me with the silly string. We went swimming, ate lunch, and the kids drew pictures.  Al and Shannon came and we went to Patti's 1880's Settlement where they took me out for fathers day. They are famous for their 2"porkchops which they lived up to.  Totally awesome and so was Linda's catfish.  They had homemade delicious deserts which we couldn't pass up!! We got there early to walk around and after dinner (mine a 2 inch pork chop and Linda's catfish) we walked some more.   They have alot of clothing, coffee, and unique shops.  For the kids there was a playground, putt putt, miniature boat races, and a small zoo.

Fri.  We drove to Horseshoe Lake in Clinton In. We found a camp sight with lake view out our back window. They had a adult get together where we helped with a puzzle.

Sat. We drove to Rosedale for a strawberry festival. It was small with just a few booths but lots of good food.

Later at the park we had a pot luck dinner and a family band came to play for us.

Sun. We drove to Georgetown Il. for church, pot luck dinner!!!, then a devo. We had 19 folks at service. When we got back to the park we went on a bike ride and we have been working on a puzzle.

Mon. We slept in. As we ate breakfast the park staff came and cut a dead branch out of the tree.  I went and washed the 5th wheel. We worked on the puzzle had dinner(left over 2 in. pork chop and catfish), played sequence and went on a bike ride.

Tues. We slept in, waxed the front and rear of the rig, went on a long walk and cleaned the rig inside. After dinner we had a fire for s'mores to find out we didn't have marshmallows!!!. We played sequence and went on a walk.

Wed. We drove to Terre Haute In. Did some shopping and ate at a local restaurant (Youngstown Grille). They had homemade onion rings and homemade strawberry rhubarb pie.. Yes we were thinking of dieting sometime!!!! We met Miki Weaver at church, drove home, went on a walk.
